Ventus is an NGO based in Kyrgyzstan. The organization was registered on June 6, 2001. The main mission is to protect fundamental human rights and freedoms. The organization conducts monitoring on subjects of womens' rights, bride-kidnapping, torture, sexual violence, advocacy clubs for youth, teachers, religious leaders with analysis and recommendations for the government. The organization is a member of the network of human rights defenders "Voice of Freedom" and the Coalition against Torture
